The KNT Group Company regularly participates in oil refining conferences, organized by Euro Petroleum Consultants Company. This year RU-CAT 2018 (April 2018, Moscow), dedicated to the latest developments in the field of catalytic processes, attracted particular interest from domestic refineries. The KNT Group Company not only took part in this conference, but also co-sponsored. 

To date, KNT Group Company has not only modern technologies of oil refining catalysts, but also excellent experience of using them in Russia and abroad, successfully competing with leading western catalyst producers.

All this, as well as an overview of domestic requirements and available production capacities of oil refining catalysts, was reflected in the statements of the KNT Group Company representatives:

1. FCC catalysts. From successful import substitution to international competition.

2. Hydrotreating catalysts. Breakthrough of domestic technologies.

The participants of the conference has noted the rapid development of KNT Group Company: the increase in the FCC production capacity up to 28,000 tons / year, the introduction of capacities for the production of ultra-stable zeolite type Y, zeolite ZSM-5, the successful implementation of projects for the regeneration and rejuvenation of hydrotreating catalysts.

The existing capacities of the KNT Group Company for the production of FCC catalysts and catalysts of hydrocracking and hydrotreating processes, significantly cover the needs of the Russian Federation in these types of catalysts. Despite this, one of the Russian companies during the conference presented the construction of catalysts production, stipulating this by import substitution, although import substitution in several directions of the oil refining catalysts has already been carried out. Many participants of the conference noted the futility of a new production of FCC catalysts creation in the presence of a significant underload of existing domestic capacities.
